22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

If we can remember how we depended on our parents when we were little kids, ,we should be able to continously relate with God in that manner. Our experience, knowledge, education and connections have made us to believe that we can handle all things by ourself. We only go to God after we have exhausted our alternatives. God is interested in those that can throw away their physical senses when they are relating with him .When we were in our mother's womb, we could not influence anything. We were being fed, accommodated, transported, clothed and covered. Everything was perfect in the womb because God was in charge helping mum and dad to provide the best until we came out.
Now that you are out there in the world, you quickly forgot your root and your main grand parent as it were, the Almighty God who is still readily available, wathching and waiting for you to come to him all the time and report to him everything concerning your situation.
Refuse to be deceived by what you've achieved so far and go to God like a baby all the time swallowing your pride and tell him how helpless you are without him. Remind him that he is the one that kept you and sustained you in the womb and as such cannot abandon you now and God will give you the grace to do so in the mighty name of Jesus.
